Further to previous information posted on this website regarding Chideock, below is clarification on the time period affected.

The Chideock safety camera issue only affects drivers detected speeding by the westbound (travelling towards Exeter) safety camera on the A35 in Chideock between 1997 and 17 November 2007.

The DSCP commenced the process of contacting all the affected drivers in mid-July.  Due to the large volume of people needed to be contacted this process will take time – if drivers wish to contact DSCP directly details of the process to follow can be found in the frequently asked question section [link]
